• It is a framework and tool that includes standards and guidelines designed by a team of experts from various countries worldwide. The model aims to improve the quality of education and learning outcomes in schools and educational institutions globally.

• The award aims to promote excellence in school performance, contributing to the continuous development and improvement of educational institutions, thereby enhancing the quality of education and the overall learning process.
• In the 2023 cycle, the foundation sponsored six schools to participate in the program, with the implementation phases running from September 2023 to February 2024.
• The award and accreditation program consist of two main phases:
  • Assessment and On-Site Visits
  • Training Workshops

• Each school is assigned an expert trainer and an assistant trainer to conduct the training workshops, consisting of two in-school sessions and one remote session. Each in-person workshop lasts for two days, while the online workshop lasts for one day.
• These training workshops introduce schools to the standards of the Hamdan EFQM Global Educational Model and guide them on implementing these standards within their systems and programs. This is achieved through extensive discussions between the trainers and the school's working team.
• At the conclusion of the training workshops, trainers assist the school in submitting its participation file on the AssessBase platform in preparation for the assessment and on-site visits phase.

• At this stage, a team consisting of three assessors (one team leader and two members) is assigned to conduct the assessment and visits for the schools participating in the Hamdan EFQM Global Educational Award and Program.
• The assessment team reviews each school’s application file through the AssessBase platform, followed by on-site school visits lasting four days. The process concludes with the team preparing a detailed report for each school.
